Deion Sanders lastly goes public with new girlfriend 21 years youthful than him

NFL icon Deion Sanders, 58, has finally put an end to the rumors after going public with girlfriend Karrueche Tran, 37.

In recent months, reports suggested that the Colorado head coach and the actress were in a relationship, however there was never any confirmation to the rumors.

They sparked the rumor mill into life back in July after actress Tran was spotted by his side in hospital before he underwent bladder surgery.

Since then, they have kept a relatively low profile. That was until this weekend, when Sanders finally hard launched his relationship with Tran, who is 21 years his junior.

The former Falcons and Cowboys cornerback took to Instagram to share a selfie of the couple cozied up together, enjoying the festive period. 

The selfie came just days after the couple were spotted in a YouTube video posted by Sanders’ son, Shilo, where they cuddled up together on a staircase.

Similarly, in another video circulating social media, Tran revealed: ‘We had a great Christmas together. I got to spend some quality time with the Sanders family’.

While fans have had to wait for official confirmation from the couple, that didn’t stop internet sleuths from piecing together their potential relationship over recent months. 

Back in September, Tran fueled dating rumors between her and NFL legend Sanders after claiming that dating ‘older is the way to go’. 

When asked by TMZ whether they were official, Tran simply smiled and shrugged her shoulders before then being asked what her thoughts on the former NFL star are.

She said: ‘I think he’s a great person. A great father, everything he’s doing right now, the achievements. I think it’s great.’ 

The reporter then asked if she would ever ‘date an older guy’. She replied: ‘Absolutely! You know, men mature later than women so older is the way to go!’

Sanders had remained tight-lipped on the rumored relationship and even dodged a question about it on the ‘Say What Needs To Be Said’ podcast. 

The two-time Super Bowl champion jokingly pretended his connection was cutting out in a bid to dodge the question, before closing his computer and ending the call.

Tran, 37, was by the 58-year-old’s side in hospital before he recently had bladder surgery

Tran’s most famous previous relationship came when she began dating R&B icon Brown back in 2011, before they briefly split when he reconnected with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna a year later.

She also briefly dated Migos rapper Quavo, which came before a longer-term relationship with former NFL star Victor Cruz from 2017-21.

As for Sanders, he has been married twice to first wife Carolyn Chambers, with whom he had daughter Deiondra and son Deion Jr, before tying the knot again with Pilar Biggers-Sanders – the mother of sons Shilo and Shedeur as well as another daughter in Shelomi.

Following his divorce from Pilar, Deion was also previously engaged to Tracey Edmonds before they called it off in 2023.
