A former target of Manchester United snubbed the Premier League giants for the money of Saudi Arabia as he headed to the Middle East with his stunning doctor wife
Former Manchester United transfer target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic snubbed a move to the Premier League giants to move with his gorgeous WAG to Saudi Arabia
The former Lazio and Serbia, who celebrated his 31st birthday last week, was on United’s shortlist as an alternative option after the club’s drawn out pursuit to sign Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona failed. Milinkovic-Savic was regarded as one of the best talents in Serie A with his 6ft 4 frame and ability on the ball compared to Zinedine Zidane.
Milinkovic-Savic starred in Serie A with his wife Natalija Ilic cheering him on from the sidelines. The pair have been together since 2017 and their relationship has also gone from strength to strength after moving to the sunshine of the Middle East.

Natalija has been smashing it in her professional life too. Having studied medicine at Novi Sad University in their native Serbia, she moved to Rome five years ago to start working as a doctor. It was then that she met Milinkovic-Savic, who had not long split from model Andreja Travica.
Her talents have come in handy as her beau has suffered various injury issues through the years. They’ve been inseparable since striking up their romance, going on plenty of holidays when she isn’t watching him play.
Local reports suggested they got engaged in 2022, and it seems they have now married as Milinkovic-Savic posted a picture on Instagram the following June with the caption: “With my wife!” The couple also have a daughter and a son together.
Milinkovic-Savic joined Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League in 2023, ending speculation linking him with the biggest clubs around Europe to chase the money.
The Spanish-born midfielder won the league title with Al-Hilal last season and has eight goals in the Pro League and AFC Champions League so far this season as Simone Inzaghi’s team look to win back the league title they so dominantly won in the 2023/24 season, which they ended unbeaten.
Al-Hilal finished as runners-up to Al-Ittihad last season and are currently third – just three points off Cristiano Ronaldo’s league-leading Al-Nassr.
