Kell Brook’s Ricky Hatton tribute combat moved as he exhibits off ’15/10′ physique

Kell Brook’s Ricky Hatton tribute fight has been moved to a new date in a poignant venue as Ebanie Bridges drooled over his ‘15/10’ physique

Kell Brook’s Ricky Hatton tribute fight has been moved to a new date and venue as Ebanie Bridges drooled over his incredible physique.

The former multiple-weight world champion is returning to the ring at the age of 39 to face Eisa Al Dah. Brook last stepped into the ring in February 2022 and was set to make an emotional comeback next month to support The Ricky Hatton Foundation, but the fight has been postponed until late summer this year due to the conflict in the Middle East.

Hatton was scheduled to fight Al Dah in February but Brook has stepped in following the tragic death of ‘The Hitman’ in September. And Brook is cutting no corners in his preparation as he showed off his ripped body.

Brook’s partner and fellow boxer Ebanie drooled over Brook’s physique as she captioned the post: “Scale 1-10 rate @SpecialKBrook physique. I’ll go first 15/10 (fire and sweating face emoji). Not bad for nearly 40 (eyes emoji).”

‘The Blonde Bomber’ also shared an update that the bout billed ‘Destiny In The Desert’ will move to Manchester due to the unrest in the Middle East. But the venue change also allows for the fight in Hatton’s memory to be brought to his hometown.

Hatton was scheduled to face Al Dah in February, but Brook stepped in after the tragic death of The Hitman. And speaking to Daily Star Sport at the media day, Brook admitted he questioned his decision.

He said: “After that much time out, getting back in the gym with lads 20 years younger than me and trying to keep up, I was thinking, what have I got myself into here? I did this for years.

“But I stuck with it. It’s one day at a time. Days turn into weeks, weeks into months, and now everything’s coming together. The fitness is there, I’m in great shape, I’m healthy.

“I’m actually beating the alarm clock now, eager to get to the gym. At the start, I wanted to turn my back on it, but I’m glad I didn’t. It’s hard, but you’ve got to persist and keep going.”

He added: “It means the world to me that I got the call to step in for Ricky. I understand what we’re all going through and what this fight represents. For me, this is for people who are struggling.

“I’ve struggled myself – with depression, addiction, mental health – and it’s important to say that it’s OK not to be OK, and that it’s OK to reach out.”

However, it might not be the last time we see Brook in a ring, as he refused to rule out a longer comeback.

“You never know. It’s one fight at a time. But my joy is back, and you never know – those big fights might still be there.
