‘Sexy and single’ tennis star leaves followers speechless with scorching bikini pic
The 28-year-old star has wowed fans with a picture on Instagram following her breakup with a fellow tennis professional and declaring her nowfound status
Tennis star Paula Badosa has sent fans into a top spin after posting a bikini-clad photo on Instagram. The Spanish pro sparked a flurry of comments from fans and fellow tennis players alike.
Badosa recently ended a two-match losing streak after beating Aliaksandra Sasnovich 7-5, 6-3 in the Miami Open first round on Thursday. However, the 2025 Australian Open semi-finalist has generated more column inches thanks to her racy snap.
The 28-year-old caused a stir in November last year when she declared she was “sexy and single” following her breakup with fellow tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas. Badosa began her romance with the Greek player in May 2023 and the duo swiftly became the centre of attention due to their celebrity status.
She now appears to be embracing the single life with the support of the tennis community. Fellow professional Ekaterine Gorgodze commented she was left “speechless” by Bardoa’s photo, while Coco Gauff also left three flame emojis underneath the post. German star Eva Lys simply wrote under the bikini picture: “Just got blessed.”

Badosa and Tsitsipas, 27, earned recognition as tennis’s ultimate power couple. Nevertheless, they ended their romance, with sources indicating they parted ways after last summer’s Wimbledon championships.
Following their separation, they stopped following each other on social platforms and removed numerous photographs of themselves together. Posting several images from her birthday celebration last year, Badosa captioned: “Chapter 28, here we go! Heart full…Thank you to the ones who made it so special.”
Badosa was also photographed sporting banners declaring “sexy and single” and “28 and still a 10”. The world No. 100 commands 1.3 million Instagram followers and regularly offers insights into her lavish lifestyle beyond tennis.
However, she discussed the effect her public relationship and consequent breakup had on her psychological well-being.
“Sometimes life shakes us so hard that we think we won’t be able to get up,” she revealed. “We go through moments when the soul breaks in silence, where doubts weigh more than hope, and where the inner noise lets nothing be heard.
“But it’s right there, in that void, where something sacred begins: the reunion with oneself. Healing isn’t forgetting or pretending it didn’t hurt. Healing is looking at yourself with compassion, recognizing your wounds and understanding that everything you experienced was a necessary part of the journey.
“It is discovering that peace is not in what you have, or in who accompanies you, but in the simple fact of being able to breathe calmly with yourself.”
