Inside lifetime of Daniel Kinahan’s ‘Queen of the Molls’ spouse left dwelling in concern in Dubai

Caoimhe Robinson is left living in fear in Dubai as her suspected cartel kingpin husband Daniel Kinahan faces 30 years in jail following his dramatic arrest

The days of £220 tasting menus and £500 Beluga caviar are officially over for “Queen of the Molls” Caoimhe Robinson. For years, she and her suspected cartel kingpin husband Daniel Kinahan were the ultimate power couple of the Dubai social scene.

From their regular table at the Michelin-starred Al Muntaha in the Burj Al Arab to their sprawling seven-bedroom mansion on the Palm Jumeirah, the pair lived a life of unimaginable luxury built on an alleged £1billion drug empire.

But that golden era came to a crashing halt last Friday when Dubai police swooped in on the man-made island, arresting the 48-year-old Dubliner and hauling him off to the notorious Al Awir prison, dubbed the “Desert Alcatraz.”

The fall from grace is also a staggering blow for 44-year-old Caoimhe. Once the glamorous blonde matriarch of the family, she is now reportedly living in fear, huddled in a luxury villa just a stone’s throw from the Beckhams’ Dubai residence.

A source told the Daily Mail: “Caoimhe’s world was turned upside down in an instant. In truth she’s wanted out of Dubai for some time…but with her husband behind bars her future is now massively uncertain.”

The source added that she is now “paranoid that she will somehow get drawn in to the legal proceedings.”

Caoimhe’s journey began far from the glittering Arabian Gulf. Raised in a council house in Darndale, North Dublin, she was the daughter of a lorry driver.

Despite her humble roots, she was allegedly on the gangland scene from her teens. In her 20s, she was the partner of notorious mobster Michael ‘Micka’ Kelly, known as “The Panda.”

In 2011, just weeks after she gave birth to their daughter, Kelly was executed, shot 14 times outside her apartment. By 2014, she had moved on to Daniel Kinahan, the heir to the “Dapper Don” Christy Kinahan’s throne.

One source said: “Being Kinahan’s moll is probably the biggest prize; she’d be the queen…They’re in love with the lifestyle; they love the danger. They’re absolutely ruthless.”

The couple’s 2017 wedding at the Burj Al Arab was a grand occasion. Under a massive chandelier, the pair sat on matching thrones while guests, including international drug lords and even heavyweight champ Tyson Fury, looked on.

But the glamour hid a darker reality. As US sanctions took hold and a $15million bounty was placed on the cartel’s leadership, the walls began to close in.

Before the arrest, the marriage was reportedly under strain. Sources suggest Caoimhe was “heartbroken” after Daniel refused to let her return to Ireland for her mother’s funeral in 2020, fearing legal repercussions or gangland hits.

Tensions reportedly spiked further over Daniel’s conversion to Islam, which Caoimhe reportedly had “no interest in joining,” as well as her claimed desire to flee the Middle East for Spain following recent regional missile threats.

While Daniel had invested “big money” into local contacts he believed would tip him off over any legal moves against him, his insurance policy ultimately failed.

He was said to have been left blindsided after an elite surveillance team from Dublin watched his every move for 48 hours before the bust.

As Daniel faces the prospect of 30 years behind bars in Ireland, his wife remains in their Dubai stronghold, reportedly watching her empire crumble.
