‘Really good high quality’ tilting parasol that is ‘sturdy’ has a 3rd off

‘Great quality, looks great and good value’

With the warmer, sunny weather finally here, many will want to spend more time outdoors. That’s why shoppers are buying parasols, and there are several great options on Amazon.

The Keplin Tilting Parasol is currently available on Amazon for £36.99, down from £54.99, in a limited-time deal, saving shoppers 33%. It is an Amazon’s Choice product and more than 100 have been bought in the past month.

It is available in different colours and the 2.3m canopy spans 230cm, which the brand says is large enough to cover a four to six seat outdoor dining set, or two sun loungers side-by-side. There are also two other sizes available, including 2m and 2.7m.

The water-repellent polyester blocks harmful UV rays and sheds light rain, the brand says, and the push-button tilt adjusts the canopy up to 45° to follow the sun as it moves, meaning there is no need to reposition the base. It also has a smooth crank handle which raises and lowers the canopy easily, while the robust steel pole and six reinforced ribs provide solid support for everyday use.

The parasol includes a protective storage cover to keep the canopy clean and weather-ready between uses. Plus, it is quick to assemble straight out of the box, so shoppers can use it without delay and make the most of the outdoors.

As an alternative, Argos has the Argos Home 2.1m Tilting Garden Parasol in the colour black for £75. The crank system makes opening and closing simple, the brand says, while the aluminium pole keeps weight down for easy movement outdoors. The listing says it tilts to follow the sun through the day, and shoppers can adjust the angle without shifting the whole setup.

Or, at Debenhams, there’s this Christow Garden Parasol 2m Tilting Outdoor Umbrella for £34, down from £39.99. This comes in four colours and, with a diameter of two-metres, it’s an ideal size for smaller gardens and two-seater bistro tables, the site says.

But back to the Keplin Tilting Parasol on Amazon, which has been rated an overall 4.4 out of five-star rating. One shopper said: “This is really good quality, sturdy and well made. Very happy with (my) purchase, definitely recommend.”

A second said: “Great quality, looks great and good value.” While a third wrote as part of a longer review: “So happy with this parasol. It’s really well made, I love that it tilts, it’s weatherproof and comes with a handy weatherproof cover to keep it safe from the elements. Which also means you don’t have to keep putting it away.”

Others deducted stars, with one writing: “The screw to hold the parasol pole is not good enough. It has no bolt to bolt into on the other side of the screw hole. Other than that, very good.”

Someone else said: “It is designed for thick parasol poles and mine was too thin, so (I) had to get creative.”
