QUINAULT (3.30) has the class to bounce back to form in the Group Two Go Local Stores Minster Stakes at York this afternoon.
Stuart Williams’ six-year-old won over the Knavesmire last summer over seven furlongs and signed off his season with a fine third in the Champions Sprint at Ascot.
He returned in February with victory in a Doha Group Three, but was unable to get in a blow over the minimum trip at Newmarket in the Palace House Stakes.
Today’s six furlongs looks his ideal trip and at a decent price and with a hood back on he should be in the mix.
FELICITAS (4.05, nb) looked a smart prospect when an easy winner of a Sandown novice event 19 days ago, defying a penalty in the process, and the daughter of Teofilio clearly has the potential to win the Group Three Tattersalls Musidora Stakes.
