Horror scenes at UK Tesco as man stabbed a number of occasions in automotive park brawl
The victim, a man in his 50s, suffered a number of stab wounds in the attack outside the Tesco Superstore in Catford, London on Friday evening, with no arrests made, police have said
A man was stabbed in Catford Tesco car park
A man in his 50s has been stabbed following a brawl in the car park of a supermarket. The Met Police reported that he was assaulted outside the Tesco Superstore on Thomas’ Lane, Catford at approximately 5.50pm on Friday, May 15.
Paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene, treating the victim for multiple stab wounds before transporting him to hospital. His injuries are not life-altering, the police confirmed.
No arrests have yet been made in relation to the incident and investigations are ongoing, the force stated. Witnesses are being encouraged to step forward to assist with the continuing investigation, as reported by MyLondon.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “At around 5.50pm, police received reports of a stabbing following a fight in the car park of a supermarket in Thomas’ Lane, Catford. Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
“One man in his 50s was found at the scene with stab wounds and was transferred to hospital. Following assessment, his injuries have been found to be non-life changing. There have been no arrests at this stage.”
