North London in chaos as Arsenal followers swing from road lights and share particular ‘man love’

Arsenal’s historic Premier League title victory has sparked absolute pandemonium on the streets of North London, with jubilant supporters partying long into the night. Following the final whistle that confirmed their status as champions of England last night – after Man City failed to beat Bournemouth – thousands of ecstatic Gunners flooded the streets surrounding the Emirates Stadium, completely transforming the local area into a chaotic, jubilant sea of red and white.
The overwhelming release of emotion after a gruelling title race resulted in scenes of unbridled joy, with safety and sensible behaviour temporarily thrown out the window in favour of wild celebrations.
The sheer scale of the street party quickly escalated into joyful anarchy. Desperate for a better vantage point of the massive, densely packed crowds, fans began scaling whatever street furniture they could find.

Supporters hoisted themselves high up onto thick floodlight poles, clinging on precariously to capture selfies from dizzying heights against the backdrop of giant Arsenal murals.
Elsewhere, multiple fans were spotted swinging from dual street lamps, their silhouettes illuminated by the blazing glow of flares that choked the night air with thick red smoke.
Nowhere was off-limits for the revellers as the massive crowds spilled out into residential areas. A white van parked on the street was entirely overtaken, its roof and bonnet serving as a makeshift stage for dozens of chanting, scarf-waving fans.
Others crammed themselves into the open sash windows of nearby terraced houses to join the chorus from above, whilst rows of supporters hoisted themselves up to sit precariously atop high brick walls near a local car wash, drinking beers and leading chants for the thousands gathered below.
In the middle of the flying pints, glowing flares, and the inevitable sea of discarded cans littering the pavements, the overwhelming emotion on display was pure, unadulterated elation. The shared euphoria resulted in widespread displays of camaraderie and public affection as the Arsenal faithful celebrated the end of their title drought.
Groups of grown men were spotted sharing emotional, boozy embraces in the middle of the road, with one trio – including a fan sporting a retro Dennis Bergkamp shirt – locked in a passionate, tearful group hug as the reality of their monumental triumph finally sank in.
As the night wore on, the makeshift street festival showed absolutely no signs of slowing down. Impromptu parades took over the roads, with a glowing digital Arsenal crest strapped to the back of a flatbed trailer serving as a mobile monument to the victory.
Fans danced around it, spraying bottles of champagne into the air alongside supporters hanging out of passing vehicles. From ecstatic youngsters posing in the red mist of the smoke bombs to lifelong fans soaking up every second of the boozy atmosphere, North London has truly been painted red in an unforgettable night of footballing glory.
