Record-breaking £125m lotto winner going through jail for fourth time in simply three months
A lottery winner has been arrest for a fourth time after winning a ridiculous sum of money after playing the Powerball. Despite becoming a millionaire the 51-year-old is still getting into trouble

A bloke who won a staggering $167.3 million (£125m) in the Powerball jackpot has been arrested for a fourth time since his whopping win. James Shannon Farthing won the $167.3 million (£125m) in April, a win which completely change most people’s lives for the better.
However, days after the colossal win Farthing found himself in trouble. On April 30 Farthing and his girlfriend were arrested at the TradeWinds Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida.
An arrest affidavit alleged an incident broke out at the resort leading to Farthing punching a hotel guest in the face. During the fray a Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to break up the row.

Farthings is alleged to have then kicked the officer in the face while the cop was trying to calm the row. Despite bringing home a staggering $167.3 million win it would seem money couldn’t keep the bloke out of trouble. Farthing‘s latest arrest was on July 26.
The lottery winner faces charges of first-degree strangulation, domestic violence related, and fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, causing minor injury to a woman.
The woman is understood to have told police that an argument had broken out between her and Farthings after a boat trip. Farthings claimed to have “put[ing] both his hands on her neck, which restricted her breathing” as the argument between the two became physical. Farthings is currently staying in Scott County Jail and is due to appear in court on July 28.

Deputy Zachary Bryant stated the woman had visible welts on the left side of her neck and also stated the incident had been captured on a Ring camera set up in a bedroom. Farthing allegedly entered a not guilty plea, UNILAD reports. The man’s bond has been set at $15,000.
The lottery winner has also been ordered to avoid contacting the women and also must wear a “monitoring device” to help prevent him from violating the order.
Smoking gun reports Farthings has had numerous issues with violating the law and has an extensive criminal past. He is understood to have spent 30 of his last 50 years alive in a prison cell after committing a string of offences. The lucky lotto winner has nine previous convictions across Kentucky.
Farthings’ long list of offences includes drug related offences, bribing police officers and also domestic violence.
