Oasis fans have been warned of a flood of fake ticketing scams as they clamour for world tour tickets.
Cybersecurity experts said music lovers with the ‘fear of missing out’ are most at risk ahead of ticket sales for the Brit-pop band’s next world tour.
The ticket registration for the Oasis Live ‘27 tour closes at 4pm today (Thur) with buying windows starting from next weekend.
Oasis introduced the strict registration ballot, in which fans must register for the chance to buy a ticket, to avoid the ticketing chaos of their 2025 reunion.
But fans can expect a flood of fake “successful applicant” emails, spoofed registration portals and social media scammers offering to sell unique access codes.

Matt Cooke, Cybersecurity Strategist at Proofpoint, said: “With Oasis announcing their 2027 tour and fans preparing for another scramble for tickets, it’s likely scammers are preparing too.
“Recent research found ticket fraud cost British concertgoers more than £150m in the past year, with 77% of fake tickets bought through online platforms.”
He advised fans to be “extremely wary” of unexpected emails, texts or social media posts claiming you have secured tickets or offering access codes.
“Scammers rely on excitement, urgency and FOMO to make you act without checking,” he added.
“Pause for a moment to double-check the legitimacy of any offer before transferring money or entering details, so you Don’t Look Back in Anger.”
