It’s hard to deny that one of the best fast food chains on the market is Five Guys. Burgers, shakes, fries – there’s no denying it doesn’t get much better than that.
The American chain is known for their generous portions and fresh-cooked meals. As for their latest offering, once I heard that they were releasing a new milkshake, I couldn’t help but head to my local for a taste. Some things are just better together – and shake time is no exception. Five Guys and M&M’S are bringing a splash of colour and a satisfying crunch to the menu with the new M&M’S shake, available for a limited time.
Made with M&M’s chocolate syrup and crushed M&M’S, it’s blended into Five Guys’ classic hand-spun shake for a creamy, chocolatey treat with a colourful crunch. Enjoy it as a solo treat or make it a shake moment with friends. However, you sip it, it’s more fun together.
The partnership is a match made in heaven
John Eckbert, CEO of Five Guys Europe said: “Every Five Guys shake is a treat, but the M&M’S shake brings something extra: rich chocolate, a colourful crunch and plenty of fun.
“We think it’ll be a fan favourite – so be sure to try it while it’s here!”
So, that I did. The milkshake was smooth, chocolatey and refreshing. Of course, the portion size was more than generous, as if custom with the fast food chain.
The making process, as I was informed, starts with the iconic hand-spun creamy vanilla-style milkshake base. Then, dark chocolate syrup and real crushed M&M’S chocolates are blended directly into the cup.
Finally, the drink is finished with a swirl of whipped cream and a dome lid.
This particular collaboration has never been done before and it is genuinely worth it, marking a great addition to Five Guys already stellar milkshake menu.
I enjoyed my shake with my go-to burger and fries meal, but only managed to polish off half, wanting to save space for the milkshake. It provided the perfect accompaniment to the meal and will be sorely missed once gone.
So make sure you get to try before it’s too late.
