Jordanian migrant denies ‘sexually assaulting 12-year-old woman and three girls’ on the Tube whereas residing in taxpayer-funded lodging
A Jordanian migrant today denied sexually assaulting a girl and three women on the London Underground and was granted bail ahead of his trial in over a year’s time.
Hamza Alotaibi allegedly assaulted the victims within the space of a month – and is first accused of groping a woman at Paddington station on January 27.
The 27-year-old is said to have sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl on the District Line between St James’s Park and Acton Town stations two days later.
A week later, on February 4, he allegedly assaulted a woman on the Elizabeth line near Whitechapel station and another female passenger on February 13 on the same line between Liverpool Street and Canary Wharf.
Alotaibi was living in taxpayer-funded Home Office accommodation in London at the time but has now been moved to similar accommodation in Hartlepool.
Bearded Alotaibi appeared at Inner London Crown Court today wearing a black jacket over a grey jumper and light blue jeans.

Assisted by an Arabic interpreter, he denied four counts of sexual assault on a female.
Judge Matthew Boyle told him: ‘You have entered not guilty pleas to these sexual assault allegations. I have set a trial date which unfortunately will not come around until January 4, 2027.’
The judge warned Alotaibi that he must provide a defence statement ahead of his trial.
Alotaibi was bailed on condition he does not use the rail network except for legal and medical appointments. He can only travel on the Underground with an Oyster card.
