Disgraced Andrew Windsor may bag £25m in ‘Holy Grail’ tell-all ebook deal

Andrew Windsor could bag a rather large bag of money if he decides to tell all and write about, one publishing executive has claimed, while calling it the ‘Holy Grail’

The Royal formally known as “Prince” Andrew could be set for a huge cash windfall – if he decides to share his story. While constantly denying any wrongdoing when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein and Virginian Giuffre, details have always been lacking from the man eighth in line to the throne.

And if he chooses to go public with his full story, it has now been claimed that he could land himself a huge cash windfall with publishers potentially falling over themselves to get hold of the “holy grail” story.

Although there has never been any hint that Andrew does want to pen a been, or even tell his story to a ghost writer, one publishing executive told the Daily Mail: “Obviously everyone wants the inside track on his time with Epstein.

“That is the Holy Grail – no royal has been treated so brutally by his own people since King Charles I was beheaded in 1649, and he’s clearly angry at the way he’s been dumped. In those circumstances he might be prepared to talk, in broad terms, about his involvement with Epstein, simply to get his side of the story across.

“But he has to be careful his words don’t incriminate him. The Democrats in the US Congress have asked Andrew to appear before them, and now he no longer has royal immunity, he’d have to tread very, very carefully.

“But he must be dying to say something in order to salvage his professional reputation.”

Whether he does or not remains to be seen, but when music over a price what a publisher could be willing to stump up to tempt Andy, another industry insider said: “We’re looking at maybe £25 million. With the right ghost-writer asking him the right questions, we could see the history of the House of Windsor completely rewritten with what he knows. He’s a time-bomb waiting to explode.”

The news comes as Andrew suffered another blow this week, albeit one with a rather large upside.

Having having all roles stripped, and his Royal titles, the disgraced former Prince has had his last visible title taken off him as the Jeffrey Epstein scandal continues.

On the Royal Family’s online list of succession, he was until yesterday still listed as “Prince Andrew”. But now the newly-updated list refers to him only as “Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor,”and keeps him in eighth position on the table.

While many had (wrongly) assumed he would be taken out of the line, Andrew remaining on it has now been confirmed he could indeed be confirmed as King one day. Despite many wanting Andrew removed from the line of succession, it’s not actually that simple (because why would it be in the UK?).

Removing him from the line of succession is an incredibly complex legal process, and would require a new Act of Parliament in the UK, which would also need the consent of all 14 other Commonwealth realms where King Charles is Head of State.

The UK government has stated it has no current plans to introduce such legislation – so for the time being, if the seven people above him on the list either die, or give up their positions on the list, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could in theory, one day, be King.
