Baby boy is preventing for his life after being discovered ‘in critical situation’ at residence: Woman, 25, and 22-year-old man arrested

A baby boy is fighting for his life after being found in a ‘serious, life-threatening condition’.

Police have arrested a 25-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man after responding to an incident at around 11am on January 3, at a home in St John’s Chase, March, Cambridgeshire. 

Medics treated the infant at the scene before he was transported to hospital, where he remains in critical condition. 

The man, 22, and woman, 25, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possession of Class B/C drugs.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: ‘We were called by the ambulance service at about 11am on Saturday 3 January to St John’s Chase, March, where medics were treating a baby boy in a serious, life-threatening condition. 

A 25-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man from Cambridgeshire have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possessing Class B/C drugs 

‘The baby was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition. 

‘A 25-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, both from March, have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possessing Class B/C drugs.’
