A man has been branded the “world’s most forgiving husband” after he opted to stay with his wife after she had sex with a teenager. He has instead chosen not to divorce her and instead move to a new home with his cheating partner away from public life.

McKenna Kindred caused a major stir when the former teacher was allegedly found to have had sex with a teenage student whilst her husband Kyle was out of town. McKenna was later able to avoid jail time after managing to agree to a plea deal in court.

Now, it has been revealed that Kyle is still with McKenna despite her cheating ways, and the pair have upped sticks in an attempt to move on with their lives. It comes as the parents of McKenna’s victim have slammed her for her “predatory” moves on the teen.

According to the Sun, McKenna had been alone after Kyle had gone away to hunt when she arranged to have sex with her 17-year-old student between June and November of 2022. Then aged 23, the couple were soon outed after the teenager revealed all to his parents who soon raised the alarm.

Appearing in court in March of 2024, the child’s mother had blasted the move as an “abuse of power” that has since caused untold damage to him and his career prospects. Spokane County Superior Court heard at the time that the mum had fumed: “A light he used to carry has been dimmed.”

Breaking down into tears in the witness box, McKenna sobbed as she apologised to the student and his family, adding that she was “deeply ashamed” of what she had done. She later pleaded guilty to amended charges of second-degree sexual misconduct with a minor and communication with a minor for immoral purposes.

After being sentenced to a two-year long probation, as well as $700 in costs, McKenna was ordered by the presiding judge to register as a sex offender for 10 years. Now, it has been confirmed that despite having been unfaithful, McKenna is still with her husband Kyle.

Kyle chose not to divorce his infidel wife and instead has since moved to Idaho, according to property records. It is now believed that the pair are living in the state’s capital, Boise, where Kyle now works as a real estate lawyer for a local firm.

The house the pair bought is reported to have set the couple back some $500,000 (£373,000), and property records showed that the pair had officially given notice of intention to move last year, just months after McKenna was able to avoid jail.

Further information surrounding McKenna’s career has not been discovered, though it was announced that she had voluntarily relinquished her licence to teach after being probes by Idaho’s standards board. Kyle, for his part, is now a trusted lawyer for local firm Holland & Hart.

On its website, Kindred is listed as being an “associate”, helping to provide detailed legal advice to those needing it. “Kyle provides legal insight on complex real estate transactions, including due diligence, compliance, and research,” the blurb said.
