Kinsey Wolanski, who went viral after streaking during the Champions League final back in 2019, has broken down the World Cup for clueless Yanks
The viral Champions League final streaker has broken down a World Cup ‘101’ for clueless Yanks.
Kinsey Wolanski, known best for her streak across the pitch in 2019, has now taken the sports hosting world by storm. The 29-year-old is helping get her fans in the World Cup mood by explaining to her heavily American audience how the tournament works.
Kinsey described the competition as a “massive deal” despite football – or soccer – being only the fourth most popular sport in the host nation. She posted her “simple” World Cup “101” – with the Yanks lapping up the much-needed information.

However, a few of the influencer’s Americanisms left plenty of European followers frustrated, as reported by NeedToKnow
During the clip, Kinsey explained the points system in the group stages, with a win giving you three points, a draw giving each team one point and a loss handing you zero. But football fans couldn’t get over her use of the word “tie” instead of draw.
One person said: “It is a draw.” Another person added: “It’s called a draw, not a tie.” Other viewers slammed the video for having to explain the “world’s largest” tournament.
One person said: “I guess she’s explaining the rules for her fellow Americans.” Another person added: “Great job summarising the world’s largest tournament.”
Someone else said: “Americans teaching us Europeans how the World Cup is going to be played. We don’t know what the ‘soccer cup’ looks like.”
One person added: “Crazy how folks in the US don’t even know the basics, wild.”
