Lewis Hamilton has opened up on his relationship with girlfriend Kim Kardashian after the couple were seen together at the F1 Monaco GP, where he secured a Ferrari podium finish
Lewis Hamilton described it as “amazing” to have his girlfriend Kim Kardashian by his side, cheering him on during another stellar Ferrari performance.
For the second race weekend in a row, Hamilton secured second place, trailing only championship frontrunner Kimi Antonelli – marking his third podium finish of the season. And he accomplished this feat with Kim in attendance.
Kardashian, who was experiencing a Formula 1 race for the first time since the couple started dating, watched the action from a balcony overlooking the Ferrari garage alongside her sister Khloe, before descending to join Ferrari staff beneath the podium to see her boyfriend spray the customary champagne.

Hamilton has been hesitant to delve into their relationship within the F1 paddock. This is despite the pair being snapped together in public numerous times in recent months, including trips to the Coachella music festival as well as several romantic getaways during non-race weekends.
However, he broke his silence following Sunday’s podium ceremony, during which he was seen blowing a kiss towards his significant other.
Speaking about the American reality TV star, he said: “It’s amazing to have her come this weekend and to have that support. It’s amazing to have good people around you, good people supporting you, and she does that for me every day.”
Kardashian’s presence sparked considerable chaos in the paddock, with throngs of people scrambling to capture photographs as she moved about.
She also snubbed Sky Sports pundit Martin Brundle during his customary pre-race grid walk, with her security detail brushing him aside as he tried a polite approach, reports the Mirror.
Nevertheless, it turned out to be nothing less than a victorious day for Hamilton, who secured second position after Max Verstappen suffered an engine failure on the starting grid, proceeding to steer through a chaotic race and guide his Ferrari safely across the line.
“I think we’ve been progressing over the last few months,” smiled the elated seven-time champion. We can’t quite keep up with [Mercedes] just yet, and it’s probably going to take a lot of work to get to their level, but to get another second place is such a great feeling.
“Especially in Monaco, under the trickiest conditions, it was the hardest conditions out there. We’ve had such a great turnout today as well. I’ll definitely take it.
“I’m very, very thankful to my team because, coming from such a horrendous year last year, I’m finally in a position where I’m reigniting the passion and the belief they had in me when I first joined.
“After a really big slump last year, to come back up, it’s great to see the fight in them. They’ve done a fantastic job. We’ve got a lot of work to try to close that gap, though.”
