A British dad has disappeared after meeting new people in Benidorm, with no word to his family for more than 24 hours. Neil Ginter has vanished while on a break to the popular resort, leaving the mother of his child frantically worried.

The stagecoach bus driver has failed to make any contact with his loved ones for over 24 hours. The father from Plymouth is said to have met several new people during his overseas holiday.

Terri Purland, who has a child with Neil, filed a missing person report on Wednesday (1 Jul), as reported by NeedToKnow. The Brit is described as being bald with a prominent tribal tattoo covering his right arm. He also sports tattooed lettering running down his left forearm and is of a stocky build.

Neil has also remained silent on social media, which has heightened fears amongst his loved ones.

Terri is now desperately appealing to any expats, tourists or residents to step forward with any details about him.

She said: “Looking for my son’s dad who is in Benidorm but no one has heard from him for over 24 hours. No posts on Facebook or even being active.

“He’s met a few people while there. If anyone has seen or heard from him can you please get in contact.”

Benidorm remains an incredibly sought-after destination for British summer getaways – with approximately 900,000 visitors annually.

Neil’s disappearance follows another Brit being successfully located after going missing in Spain. Michael Hewitt, who was journeying to the USA to support England at the World Cup, went missing during a stopover.

The devoted football supporter, known as ‘Little Mick’ amongst his friends, vanished in Barcelona on 21 Jun..

Thankfully, he was located after a 10-day hunt – ‘blissfully unaware’ his family were frantically searching for him.

The Brit had misplaced his mobile phone, leaving him stranded and unable to continue his trip to the USA or get in touch with relatives back home.
