UK colleges to shut as a consequence of ‘excessive threat’ as 700 police deployed forward of Europa League conflict

Some UK schools in Birmingham are set to close early today due to the ‘high risk’ involved in a Europa League fixture.

More than 700 police officers will be deployed at tonight’s (November 6) game between Maccabi Tel Aviv boss and Aston Villa.
