Everything P Diddy, Luigi Mangione and Ghislaine Maxwell are consuming this Thanksgiving
Despite being convicted or accused of terrible crimes, these three infamous inmates are still allowed to enjoy a hearty meal that is central to the US’s annual celebration
It sounds like the dinner party from hell but the details of Thanksgiving meals for a trio of notorious prisoners have been published today.
Among those tucking into a festive American feast on Thursday are accused UnitedHealthcare CEO slayer Luigi Mangione, disgraced music mogul and convicted sex pest P Diddy and sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. The Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where Mangione currently resides, confirmed that it will be dishing out roast turkey, mashed potatoes and brown gravy for the big day.
While over in New Jersey, where Diddy is being housed in Fort Dix, the facility said that a full feast of roast turkey, cornbread dressing, baked sweet potato, mashed potatoes, chicken gravy, whole wheat bread and fruit or holiday dessert is on the menu.
But it’s Texas’ minimum-security Federal Prison Camp Bryan that appears to be going all-out. The prison, home to Maxwell, confirmed it will offer the largest spread, with cornbread dressing, turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls, cranberry sauce, gravy and an assortment of pies, reports the New York Post.
And for the inmates who prefer to skip the meat, all three facilities say they’ll also be offering alternatives such as veggie stir fry, tofu and soy chicken and veggies.
In July, Diddy – whose real name Sean Combs – was found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution following an eight-week trial. However, he was cleared of the most serious charges he faced.
The Manhattan jury considered charges that Diddy, 56, had trafficked his victims for sex, ran a racketeering conspiracy and transported victims across state lines to engage in prostitution.
Diddy’s trial lasted a gruelling eight weeks with a number of witnesses called to present accounts of how he allegedly used violence, fear and drugs against women.
He was cleared of two counts of sex trafficking and one count racketeering conspiracy in a mixed verdict.
In December 2021, Maxwell was convicted of luring young girls to massage rooms for disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein to molest.
Maxwell, 63, daughter of media mogul Robert, was accused of procuring young girls for Epstein and even colluding in the abuse he carried out.
Her full indictment listed the charges as: conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, enticement of a minor to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, and conspiracy to transport minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.
Mangione, 27, is currently in prison waiting to go on trial for murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York in December 2024.
He remains charged for federal crimes, although claims of terrorism have since been dropped following court hearings, and he could potentially face the death penalty if found guilty of the murder.
