Strictly professional Neil Jones’ fiancée Chyna Mills claims his household refused to attend their daughter’s baptism: Love Island star says she’s been subjected to ‘bullying, racism and disrespect’ from mother-in-law

Chyna Mills has revealed a secret feud with her fiancé Neil Jones’ family and claimed she has been subjected to ‘bullying, racism and disrespect’ from her mother-in-law.

The Love Island star, 27, and the professional Strictly dancer, 43, went public with their romance in August 2022 and welcomed their daughter, Havana, the following year in October 2023.

However, on Monday, Chyna explained how Havana’s baptism was ‘ruined’ by his family, who chose not to attend.

Sharing an update to her Instagram Story, she wrote: ‘It’s heartbreaking when people try to ruin the most beautiful moments in my daughter’s life.

‘I’ve faced bullying, racism, and constant disrespect from a so called MIL since the moment I met her.

‘This year I decided enough was enough and gave her the chance to speak about whatever one sided issue she had of course, I was ignored.’

She added: ‘I’ve done everything I could to build relationships, yet nothing was ever reciprocated.

‘Havana’s baptism was a special day, and his family chose not to attend out of loyalty to her and they refuse to acknowledge what’s unfolded over the past few years. That’s on them.’

Chyna concluded: ‘But I won’t accept negative comments or false narratives on my baby girl’s special moments.

‘All that matters is Havana being surrounded by love. Her happiness comes first. Always.’

News of the feud comes after Neil announced the tragic death of his beloved father David.

He shared several black and white photos of his father and thanked his loved ones for making his funeral a ‘special day’.

Neil wrote: ‘Yesterday I said goodbye to my Dad for the final time.

‘I thought I knew my dad but yesterday I realised I didn’t after hearing so many lovely & funny stories from family and his closest friends, I know he would be smiling looking down with a pint in his hand. Thank you Wendy and everyone for making it such a special day. RIP DAD’.

Neil and his fiancée Chyna revealed in December they were living on a boat due to difficulty in finding a permanent home.

The couple, who are parents to daughter Havana, sold their previous homes with plans to move into a new property together, but have been left ‘in limbo’ as they search for the right place.

Replying to a Q&A on Instagram, Chyna described the house-hunting process as ‘hell,’ explaining they were avoiding complications from property chains.

She wrote: ‘I sold my house so me and Neil could buy something together.

‘Neil bought his boat before we got together and now its conveniently there for us to stay on while in limbo.

‘(Annoyingly) we just haven’t found a house we like yet and I also didn’t want to be in a chain because the process of buying a house is hell so hopefully we find something soon.’

She confirmed the boat, initially intended as a holiday retreat or Airbnb rental, had become their temporary home adding: ‘The plan was never to live on the boat. It was just supposed to be a holiday home and Airbnb for when we aren’t using it’.
