Thomas Skinner makes weird topless response to critic who slams his Reform antics
The ex-Apprentice star was pictured with Nigel Farage after joining his populist party, but bizarrely shared a shirtless snap in reply to a social media critic on Tuesday night
Strictly flop Thomas Skinner has bizarrely shared a topless photo in response to criticism over joining Reform UK.
The ex-Apprentice star, 34, was pictured with party leader Nigel Farage in a photo shared on social media, to which he replied: “Good to see ya Nigel. Bosh.”
But after being slammed by a social media user who branded him “a hypocrite and a liar” who “stands for nothing” after previously claiming to not be political, Skinner sent a photo in reply with his shirt off.
He wrote on Tuesday night: “One for you to enjoy tonight son. Knock yaself [sic] out. Stay lucky. Bosh”.
The X spat was sparked by when prominent Tweeter @I_amMukhtar posted: “Thomas Skinner used to post long ChatGPT paragraphs about how he’s not political, and he’s just a normal guy grafting.”
Skinner – the first celeb to be eliminated from the BBC dance show last October after he admitted to cheating on his wife Sinead weeks after their wedding – shot back by asking: “How many nights a week do you lay up thinking about me?
“Keep going bro. I love that you stand up for what you believe in. I do the same. Big love.”
But Mukhtar shared a screenshot of a previous post from Skinner in which he said: “You can’t trust Reform, you can’t trust Labour, you can’t trust the Conservatives. In fact, I don’t think there is many in government you can trust in my opinion.”
Mukhtar said: “You’re a hypocrite and a liar. You stand for nothing. This was you few months ago.”
Skinner, who previously met with US vice president JD Vance, publicly endorsed millionaire ex-city trader Farage earlier this month and branded PM Sir Keir Starmer as being “well out of his depth.”
He said in a radio interview: “The people that are running this country aren’t people who know what it’s like not to have the rent money at the end of the month. They don’t know how to run a business. They don’t know how to talk to people.
“These are career politicians and – no disrespect, not all of them are like this – but the majority are.”
He also downplayed accusations that Farage – an MEP since 1999 – is a career politician, adding: “He’s better than Labour, and there is no other choice at the moment, is there? Kemi [Badenoch] and the Conservatives, bless her, she’s well out of her depth.”
Farage, 61, was last week rocked when emerged he had been duped into paying tribute to dead paedo rock star Ian Watkins.
He paid tribute to “a good man, a good guy, who loved his children” and made reference to the late Lostprophets frontman’s catchphrase “Mega lolz” in the clip which was commissioned by a prankster for £98.
