The London Fire Brigade said of the blaze on October 1, 2025: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire in a multi-storey car park at Heathrow Airport.
“A diesel car on level one was destroyed by fire and two adjacent vehicles sustained minor damage. There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade’s Control Officers took the first of eight calls to the fire at 0904 and sent crews from Heathrow, Hayes and Feltham fire stations to the scene.
“The fire was under control by 1006. The fire is believed to have been accidental and caused by a fault in a diesel-powered vehicle.”
