Love Island: All Stars followers rumble Jessy’s ‘intelligent recreation plan’ as they blast her for ‘crocodile tears’ and ‘getting concerned in rows for no motive’

Love Island: All Stars fans are convinced they have rumbled Jessy Potts’ ‘clever game plan’ in the villa – and blasted her for her ‘crocodile tears’.

Viewers were left certain that the bombshell star was ‘playing a big game’ as Jessy, 27, waged in on the ongoing war of words between Lucinda Strafford and Belle Hassan last night (February 12).

Tensions started to fray when Lucinda stole Sean Stone from Belle – who gave her a dressing down – with the tables then turning as Belle made a play for Scott, despite him being coupled up with Leanne Amaning.

Lucinda was quick to call out Belle over her antics, dubbing her a ‘hypocrite’ and pointing out ‘double standards’ for having lashed out at her over the same actions.

Jessy stepped in on the row as she explained how Lucinda felt ‘vindicated’ by Belle’s actions – as Whitney Adebayo slammed both women for their ‘lack of morals’.

Things took another turn for the worst when Lucinda’s recoupling speech appeared to take aim at Belle once again, hinting at one of the Islanders being ‘not genuine’.

Lucinda and Belle were seen clashing again, with Belle hitting back: ‘I don’t want to speak to you, my issues I’ve dealt with, they’re none of your business.’

Jessy stepped in again as she approached Lucinda last night, telling her: ‘I’m a bit confused about the comments in the recoupling speech, what was going on with your mindset?’

Lucinda explained: ‘I got scrutinised… the last person I thought that would do the exact same is Belle, especially not to someone like Leanne… when I do it, I get screamed and shouted at…’

Having none of her excuse, Jessy replied: ‘You know you love to rage bait… I think that you’re a smart girl and you’re underestimated.’

As Lucinda hit back that she wasn’t ‘here to explain the way she is’, Jessy was seen mimicking Lucinda, speaking in a baby voice as she impersonated her.

It caused a furious row between the two women with the rest of the villa watching on in shock – before Jessy then set her sights on talking to Sean.

She warned Sean: ‘I back that you’re gonna support Lucinda no matter what but it’s not a conversation between us…’

Viewers were left certain they had worked out why Jessy had involved herself into the drama, despite Sean pointing out he didn’t ‘get the point’ of her stepping in.

Taking to social media, fans speculated that Jessy is siding with Belle and Samie Elishi for popularity, having tuned into the show before entering the villa.

Some suggested that it was stemmed from Jessy being branded as having ‘no personality’ by cruel fans when she appeared on the 2024 series.

Before heading into the villa, Jessy said: ‘I want to prove I’m not the boring nice girl, I want to show every side of me… being nice doesn’t mean I’m boring.’

One penned, according to The Sun: ‘Jessy thinks the public hate Lucinda, she’s trying to get brownie points, she doesn’t know we switched sides.’

A second chimed in: ‘Jessy has seen the public’s view from two weeks ago and thinks by fighting Lucinda the fans will like her – she’s in for a rude awakening.’

‘She was bland and boring on her series and she still is, she doesn’t have a personality and is just using Lucinda as a way of staying relevant,’ a third agreed.

‘Why is Jessy getting involved in everything, she’s clearly trying to be clever and play a game by siding Belle and Samie, not realising the public are now backing Lucinda,’ a fourth pointed out.

Other viewers were left infuriated by what they slammed as ‘crocodile tears’ from Jessy – as she broke down after clashing with Lucinda.

Lucinda headed straight to Sean as she broke down in tears, with Sean later confronting Jessy and leaving her equally upset.

Jessy then ran to Belle’s side as she cried, with Belle once again clashing with Lucinda over the ongoing rivalry between them.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans reacted: ‘More people need to be talking about Jessy getting involved for NO REASON and fake crying – Sean was literally so polite.’

‘Sean didn’t even say anything and she yelled at him for coming for her? And then she went to Belle fake crying KNOWING that she’d kick off,’ a second penned.

A third said: ‘I’m not a Lucinda fan by any means but Jessy’s targeted attack and then crocodile tears are making me want to defend Lucinda…’

It comes after it was revealed the All Stars series has been hit with 200 complaints to broadcast watchdog Ofcom after another bullying row on the ITV2 show left viewers outraged.

On February 6, a total of 120 complaints were registered to the regulator, with a number of viewers noting Belle’s conduct as the reason for their complaint, according to The Sun

It followed 53 complaints sent over the episode on February 3, after Belle and Sean were seen having a spat over Sean Stone on screen, locking horns in front of show host Maya Jama around the fire pit.

Belle launched a furious rant at Lucinda before breaking down in tears, saying that her co-star had ‘stolen’ the sweet seller from her after the Villa USA shake-up.

It came to loggerheads again on Wednesday night, as Belle shouted at Lucinda: ‘What are you sticking your nose in for? Stop making every situation about you.’

‘Lucinda, f**k off, man, I’m not f**king doing this with you, it’s none of your f**king business, and stay out of it,’ she added, storming off.

The row continued through the evening as the group of girls then clashed again inside the villa, with Belle continuing: ‘I’m done with morals in this place… I am f**king angry. F**k this, what am I doing here?’

Lying on the ground outside of the villa, Belle was then seen breaking down in tears to Samie Elishi as she asked: ‘Who are you lot to question my morals?’

During Belle and Lucinda’s first fiery clash last week, fans were quick to flood social media with complaints, hitting out at Belle for ‘bullying’.

One penned on X, formerly Twitter: ‘Belle is out of order for her behaviour against Lucinda. She hated her from the start and now is using Sean to not look like a bully.’

Another chimed in: ‘I understand Belle being upset there just comes to a point where they’re just bullying Lucinda…’ to which another added: ‘Now Belle feels like a bully.’

Someone else posted on Reddit: ‘Belle has gone being a really cool islander to an angry bully exactly as you say.’

Others stepped in to defend Belle, with one writing: ‘To say Belle is a bully is laughable. She stands her ground and shouts the loudest but that doesn’t make her an bully.’

Lucinda’s mother even stepped in to defend her daughter online amid the row, writing on Instagram: ‘That was a disgusting piece of TV.

‘The production team should be ashamed of themselves. Lucinda didn’t deserve to be violated like that. Disgusting. What a horrid crowd of people.’

The family released a statement, continuing: ‘We just wanted to remind everyone that Love Island is a TV show. It’s about exploring connections and being true to yourself, which is exactly what Lucinda is doing.

‘The hate she’s receiving is not okay on any level. Please remember that she will be coming out of the villa and seeing these comments, just like her family and friends are too.

‘Words have impact, and this kind of negativity is unkind and damaging. Let’s remember to be kind. Not only to Lucinda, but to everyone’.

Love Island: All Stars continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX
