Shocking video of man kicked in head after Man Utd v Liverpool clash

A violent brawl erupted when Manchester United fans clashed with a coach full of rival Liverpool supporters.

Tempers boiled over after United had beaten Liverpool in a 3-2 thriller at Old Trafford thanks to Kobbie Mainoo’s 74th minute winner. Following the match, a group of United fans seemingly intercepted a coach carrying travelling away fans. And shocking footage filmed from a vehicle behind shows a mass brawl spilling out into the road, with punches and kicks flying.

Footage circulating online shows one United fan approach the open door of the coach and get involved in an altercation with a Liverpool fan, before seemingly pulled him off onto the road. Another Liverpool supporter then starts throwing punches at him, before several United fans get involved and all hell breaks loose.

In one disturbing moment, the second Liverpool supporter who got off the bus is seen being repeatedly punched and kicked, before he slumps to the ground, and is kicked in the head by a United fan. A second United fan then approaches and can be seen to kick him in the head again while he is lying defenceless.

The violence is the latest flashpoint in one of football’s most bitter rivalries between England’s two most successful football clubs. The chaos unfolded on Trafford Road as away coaches were leaving Old Trafford.

Liverpool fans onboard can be heard desperately urging the driver to open the doors so they could help those caught up in the melee.

The group of Manchester United supporters involved in the fight quickly fled the scene. Fans online were left stunned by the footage.

One person slammed “the last two kicks, especially the last one”. Another person added: “Coward kicks to the head when someone is down, pathetic.”

A third said: “Absolute scum, no excuses for it in this day and age.” A fourth mocked: “The beautiful game.” While Another user said: “Morons. Need to grow up.”

The clash came after United beat Arne Slot’s side 3-2 at home. The Red Devils beat their Merseyside rivals for the second time this season to secure a double over Arne Slot’s side for the first time in 10 years.

The three points secured United’s spot in the Champions League for next season and has helped Michael Carrick’s bid to get the manager job on a permanent basis.

The visitors had battled back from two goals down to capitalise on two huge individual errors from Amad Diallo and Senne Lammens to cancel out Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko’s first-half strike, but United’s academy star rescued the three points late on.
