BREAKING Jadon Sancho ends Man Utd nightmare as winger launched with six different stars
Manchester United have confirmed that six players will leave the club this month, including Jadon Sancho, who spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Chelsea before joining Aston Villa on loan for 2025/26
Manchester United have confirmed that Jadon Sancho and five other players will leave the club this month.
Sancho, 26, arrived at United from Borussia Dortmund for £73million in 2021 and went on to rack up 83 appearances during his stint at Old Trafford, netting 12 times and laying on six assists.
His last outing for the Red Devils came in the 2024 Community Shield, when he entered as a second-half substitute against Manchester City. The 23-cap England international spent the latter half of the 2023/24 campaign back at Dortmund before heading out on loan once more to Chelsea for 2024/25 and subsequently to Aston Villa for 2025/26.

Despite efforts to shift Sancho for a transfer fee in each of the previous two summer windows, United were unable to find a buyer and must now accept losing him for nothing when his deal runs out at the end of June.
Accompanying Sancho in leaving United are Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia, Sonny Aljofree, James Bailey and Malachi Sharpe, reports the Mirror.
Casemiro announced his United departure in January and finished the campaign in impressive fashion for Michael Carrick’s outfit, assisting them in clinching a Champions League return.
The Brazilian joined the Red Devils from Real Madrid in 2022 and became a fan favourite at M16, turning out more than 150 times and contributing to their Carabao Cup and FA Cup triumphs.
A statement read: “Casemiro has enjoyed four seasons at the club, playing 160 games and scoring 26 goals. He played a major role in helping United win the 2023 Carabao Cup, scoring a header in a colossal performance against Newcastle United. The Brazil national-team captain also won the Emirates FA Cup in 2024.
“Tyrell Malacia joined United in 2022 and has made 50 first-team appearances. The full-back who has battled hard against a series of unfortunate injuries during his time at the club, featured three times this season. He was part of the matchday squad when we lifted the Carabao Cup in 2023.
“Jadon Sancho arrived at Old Trafford in 2021 and was also part of the 2023 Carabao Cup-winning side. The winger played 83 times for the club before he returned to Borussia Dortmund on loan and also made temporary moves to Chelsea and Aston Villa.
“Everyone at the club would like to thank Casemiro, Tyrell and Jadon for their contributions to Manchester United and wish them the very best of luck for the future.”
