Tennis star who had boob job insists massive ‘watermelons’ will not cease her taking part in

Tennis star Oceane Dodin insisted that her huge ‘watermelons’ have no impact on her game after undergoing a boob job.

The 29-year-old French star enjoyed her best year in the game in 2017 when she reached a career-high ranking of No.46 and made Grand Slam best runs in the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open.

However, struggles with form and injury saw her drop out of the top 100. A nine-month lay-off due to a long-term inner-ear and vertigo condition gave Dodin the time that she wanted to undergo breast enlargement surgery in December 2024, becoming the first pro to do so.

Speaking to RMC Sports, Dodin previously said: “It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. It’s true that I took advantage of this break because I told myself that since you have to stop about two months after the operation, when you’re in the season, it’s not possible.

“And then I prefer to do it now than at 40, when I’ll have finished my career. I’m very happy to have done it, I don’t regret it at all and it doesn’t bother me.”

Dodin revealed the collective response from those she told about her planned surgery, saying: “Everyone told me: ‘You’re not going to be able to play’. As if I had put on watermelons.”

Dodin has returned to action

While former colleague Simona Halep decided to undergo breast reduction surgery earlier in her career after suffering difficulties with mobility, neck and back problems, Dodin insisted her enlargement has not negatively impacted her performance on the court.

“They’re not small, but that doesn’t bother me when I play. There are adapted bras,” Dodin added

“But yes, it’s true that I have to be the first to play with breast augmentations; there has to be a first for everything.”

She admitted that despite knowing the public scrutiny that would follow her enlargement, the change wasn’t anything special, because “it’s just boobs.”

“Yes, because in this sport, it’s not like usual. Nobody has done it before, so I knew people and journalists are going to talk about it,” Dodin said.

“But no, because, I mean, for me, it’s nothing crazy. It’s just boobs, it’s nothing. So I was like, ‘maybe people are going talk about it because it’s new, and because it’s unusual’ – but not that much.”

She added: “I’m very happy to have done it, I don’t regret it at all, and it doesn’t bother me. I didn’t expect people to like it this much.”

Dodin even signed a sponsorship deal with OnlyFans after her surgery, joining the exclusive adult content platform and writing on her bio: “Where tennis meets sensuality.”

The tennis ace is no stranger to risking it all on social media as she recently teased her fans as she shared a selfie livestreaming – seemingly without her top. The French sensation added a link to her adult page.

Dodin returned to competition in late 2025 at an ITF event in Reims, France and later reached the semi-final of the W50 Manchester event as she looks to rebuild her career.
