Jung Eun-woo lifeless aged 39: South Korean actor passes away sooner or later after sharing worrying put up about Amy Winehouse
Acclaimed South Korean actor Jung Eun-woo has died at the age of 39, his family have confirmed.
The actor’s family broke the sad news a day after the star had posted a worrying post on Instagram.
The social media post featured photos of Hong Kong actor Leslie Cheung, who died at the age of 46 in 2003 and singer Amy Winehouse, who died in 2011 at 27.
He also included photos of himself in the photo carousel alongside the caption: ‘Missed, jealous, sorry.’
A cause of his death is yet to be disclosed. His funeral is set to take place on Friday.
Jung’s acting career spanned two decades and began with an appearance in the third season of the KBS drama titled Sharp, which ran between 2003 and 2007.

He also appeared on several other series, including the SBS drama Bride of the Sun.
In 2012, he won the New Star Award at the SBS Drama Awards, and in 2013, he received the Special Acting Award in the Single-Act Special Drama Category at the same awards.
Away from acting, the star had frequent appearances on the late André Kim’s fashion show.
The last film he starred in was a 2021 movie titled Memory: Manipulated Murder.
The star admitted that he had no training, instead pivoting to acting after an injury forced him to quit a potential career in basketball.
‘I didn’t learn acting by going to an academy,’ he once explained.’I learned it on set.
‘My appearance made me look older, so I was cast in roles that were older than my actual age.’
Eun-woo’s death comes five months after fellow South Korean actor Song Young-kyu was found dead in his car.

The ‘Extreme Job’ actor was discovered by an acquaintance in a car at a housing complex in Yongin, just south of Seoul, around 8am, police said.
Authorities said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. They also clarified that he did not leave behind a suicide note.
In June, the 55-year-old found himself in controversy when he was embroiled in a drink-driving scandal.
The case, which made national headlines in his home country, had been forwarded to prosecutors and was pending an indictment.
In the fallout of the incident, he was axed from two dramas that are both still in production.
His role in the stage play adapted from the popular film, Shakespeare in Love, was also terminated.
