Fallon Sherrock’s ex who punched desk after darts energy couple cut up finds love once more

One darts star is enjoying his new romance after the end of his four-year relationship last summer

Cameron Menzies has introduced his new girlfriend to his fans following his break-up with Fallon Sherrock.

The darts ace had been in a relationship with the ‘Queen of the Palace’ for four years, but their love story came to an end last summer. The 36-year-old took to Instagram this week to announce his romance with Suzanne Lewis, posting photos of the couple hugging and kissing on the social media site.

Menzies – who boasts nearly 17,000 followers on Instagram – shared Suzanne’s post of the two of them, which she captioned: “Thankful for you @cameron.menzies.7,” adding heart emojis and kisses to the message.

Menzies’ newfound joy in his personal life comes after an incredibly challenging time for the former plumber, culminating in a dramatic incident at the PDC World Darts Championship in January.

The Scotsman was shockingly knocked out in the first round of the tournament by Charlie Manby and moments after his loss, he repeatedly hit a table in a fit of rage that left his hand bleeding.

Menzies suffered serious injuries that have led to ongoing problems, and he even confessed in a recent interview that he’d contemplated quitting the sport. Speaking to Oche 180, he said: “I’ll be honest with you, a few times I’ve felt like wrapping it [up].

“I’m just not in a good place that way. Obviously what happened at the Worlds, I’ve done a lot of damage to myself. Basically I’ve no feeling in my fingers anymore because of the damage I’ve done.

“I couldn’t feel my fingers for six weeks. I had to go through surgery. I’ve still to go through hand treatment and trauma. I’ve made a massive mistake in my life. You can see the scar. I have to live with that. I was lucky it was not as bad as what it could have been. I’m not proud of it.”

Acknowledging he’s “lucky” to still have a career in darts, Menzies wrote about the effect the heartbreaking loss of his uncle Gary had on his mental wellbeing while apologising for his behaviour. Following his defeat to Manby, he wrote: “I am sorry that I reacted in the manner that I did.

“It’s not an excuse, but I have had a lot of things on my mind recently and I suppose it all just became too much at the end. It has not been an easy time for me with my uncle Gary passing away recently,” he added.

“I saw him four days before he died and he gave a look which told how much he thought of me. He treated me like a son.” Alongside the healing of his hand injury, Menzies has also made the commitment to shed weight as he’s dropped three stone in a bid to get his health back on course given he battles an ectopic heartbeat and high blood pressure.
