Arsenal star mocks Man City moments after Premier League title confirmed

Arsenal star Piero Hincapie has seemingly taunted Manchester City by implying they have crumbled under pressure for the Premier League title during raucous celebrations on Tuesday evening. The Gunners secured their first top-flight crown since 2004 after City could only muster a 1-1 stalemate at Bournemouth.
Mikel Arteta’s squad will have partied well into the early hours after finally clinching the title following three consecutive second-place finishes, with Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice spotted turning up at the Emirates at 5am on Wednesday morning.
Arsenal have previously faced ridicule for supposedly lacking the psychological fortitude to become champions, with a City supporter famously spotted sipping from a bottle last month to symbolise that the Gunners were cracking under pressure.

Now, Hincapie has seemingly hinted that City are the ones who have faltered after being captured drinking from an Arsenal bottle during their title festivities on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Saka shared a clip on social media, which showed Myles Lewis-Skelly clutching a bottle of champagne. He said: “They called us bottlers.
“They called us bottlers. And now we’re holding the bottle!”
Rice also posted on Instagram during the celebrations, sharing a selfie alongside Kai Havertz, Eberechi Eze, Lewis-Skelly, Saka and William Saliba, captioning the post: “I told you all, it’s done.”
Rice’s words were in reference to the viral clip of him mouthing “it’s not done” following Arsenal’s defeat at City in April.
The Gunners will lift the Premier League trophy following Sunday afternoon’s clash at Crystal Palace (4pm BST).
They could still complete a remarkable double for the club as they pursue their maiden Champions League crown in the final against Paris Saint-Germain later this month.
However, the title triumph brings to a close a six-year barren spell and represents Arteta’s second major piece of silverware as manager following the 2020 FA Cup success.
Amongst those offering their congratulations to Arsenal was the last boss to secure the title with the Gunners, iconic former manager Arsene Wenger.
In a message shared on the club’s social media platforms, he said: “You did it. Champions go on when others stop. This is your time. Now, go on and enjoy every moment.”
