‘I attempted DeLonghi’s Rivelia Bean to Cup Coffee Machine and can by no means contact instantaneous ever once more’

(Contains affiliate links) EXCLUSIVE: The Daily Star’s resident ‘I need to upgrade my entire life, and coffee can help with that’ expert Jess Fitch has tried one of the newest coffee machines on the market

I think I have reached a new pinnacle in my morning coffee set-up. After being introduced to DeLonghi’s Rivelia Bean to Cup Coffee Machine, I fear I can never touch instant ever again.

I LOVE coffee. I think most of us can agree that we need that caffeine hit to get us through the day and by the time I’ve hit 1pm, I’ll already be on my third cup. Naturally, I needed something that both packed a punch and tasted genuinely good. This machine more than delivers on both parts and which is why I can testify to the £699.99 price tag.

Firstly, it is just cleverly made. I am, by no means, a barista and a machine such as this can be quite daunting to a former Nespresso user. But with the 3.5″ full-touch colour display, it showed me exactly how to set it up, how to clean it (which is very important) and it has 16 pre-programmed drinks to choose from. 16!

This meant I could start a day with a shot of espresso, reboot with a cappuccino, and finish off with a refreshing iced coffee.

Besides the machine’s drink versatility, you also can control the size and intensity of your coffee. It will remember your coffee order throughout the day which is perfect for when you are rushing out the door. It even comes with two bean hoppers, which is ideal for a decaf drinker such as myself, meaning you can swap around your coffee beans with ease.

The coffee itself is the star of the show. The milk comes out perfectly frothed, the coffee has a nice depth of flavour, and hits me with a much needed energy boost. After a brew, my kitchen smells like an artisan coffee shop which in itself is a heavenly experience.

It is most definitely the best experience I’ve had with an at-home coffee machine and sits pride of place in my kitchen. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to show it off to future guests…

I did fear that a coffee machine such as this would be far too technical for me. But the Rivelia Bean to Cup Coffee Machine has impressed me on all accounts. Easy set-up, easy brewing and easy cleaning. I was and still am chuffed to bits about this product.
