Emma Louise Jones’s plea to a rally star to be the ‘most gentle’ he’s ever been with someone fell on deaf ears.
The former BBC and Speedway and Racing TV presenter swapped bikes and nags for a rally car as she was WRC star Martins Sesks’ passenger for an exhilarating ride around a test track.
Emma stepped into the car with a petrified look on her face, and pleaded: “I just want you to be the most gentle you’ve ever been with anybody” before clarifying: “Are we going to jump over anything?” and asking “am I properly tucked in?”

And her concerns fell on deaf ears when Sesks floored it and then ragged the car around corners, causing Emma to scream her lungs out.
She soon shouted: “Martin, what are you doing?” after drifting sideways towards a concrete wall. The only time the sound of her screaming stopped was when the audio had to be muted as she exclaimed: “S***” – while you never hear it, you don’t have to be a lip-reading expert to notice!
The video was posted on Instagram and her fans in the comments section lapped up the video, as one hilariously wrote: “That was bloody hilarious!” Another said: “That has to be one of the funniest videos I’ve ever seen. Well done Emma and Martins I hope your ear drums didn’t burst.”

While another quipped about Sesks’ headache with all the screaming: “Sending Martin Nurofen, thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
A fourth said: “10/10 for bravery! I think the driver must be operating under the ‘scream if you want to go faster’ rule…”
As another joked: “Good lord. I wondered why my dogs went a bit mental the other day! Could hear you from the other side of the country!”
While a sixth added: “Different breed them drivers … respect to you Emma given it a go funny tho!”

Emma is enjoying her various presenting roles
Emma secured her role with TNT Sports presenting for Speedway and admitted the position has brought a lot of pride for her family, especially with her dad who is a huge fan of the sport.
She said: “When I did the rugby league over at Odsal I saw the old track there. But I’ve not seen it in action. It would be nice to get it back in action wouldn’t it?
“I think this is the most proud my dad has been of me. He was like, ‘Emma I used to go and watch that as a kid, I love it.’ It’s been nice talking about it because it’s brought back nice memories for him.
“We’ve been to one of the events at Belle Vue Manchester at the National Speedway Stadium. He’s been giving me a semi-briefing on the history of the sport.”
