Luke Littler passes driving check after principle examination nightmare as dream automobile awaits
Luke Littler has celebrated passing his driving test at the first attempt.
The 18-year-old sensation has ticked off another milestone in his life as he is now the owner of a full driving license.
Littler took to Instagram to proudly show his license certificate and posed in the driveway of his home. The world champion added the caption: “Get innnn first time and 0 minors”.
However, Littler’s journey to achieving his license hasn’t been easy, as he failed his theory six times before passing. But he had no such trouble on the roads.
Littler can now use his lucrative darts and endorsement earnings to purchase his dream car, which he revealed is a £30,000 Mercedes A-Class.
He said: “I’ve always loved a Mercedes A-Class. Just a small car. Last year I was looking at driving and I loved Ford Focuses.
“But now, I’ve gone up in the world just a little! What model? No idea. Just an A-Class. I don’t know the different models.”
Speaking after he won the World Championship in January, Littler revealed he hadn’t taken to the road yet due to his hectic schedule of darts tournaments and climbing the world rankings.
“I haven’t had driving lessons yet because it’s been so hectic, but I’m going to have to do it before I get into my twenties when it’ll be too late and I can’t be bothered,” he said.
“If I get a car, it won’t be a birthday present from anyone. I think it would have to be a birthday present from me to me.”
