From Tokyo to Vienna, there are plenty of fabulous hotels all around the world – but the top 50 have now been named.
The very best can be found in Asia, with Rosewood Hong Kong taking first place in The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025.
Awarded for its ability to ‘stand out’ in a bustling city and is located along Victoria Harbour.
Guests barely have to leave the hotel as it boasts a choice of 11 dining and drinking options as well as ‘extensive wellness facilities’.
The luxurious establishment has spacious rooms and all are carefully decorated with style.
The list consists of venues from 22 different destinations spread across six continents.
Asia manages to dominate the top three, with Four Seasons Bangkok at Chao Phraya River placing second.
It’s located along the River of Kings and boasts Mediterranean-style gardens and a whopping 299 bedrooms.

Claridge’s ranked 16th in the list and is a longstanding venue in the London hotel scene, first opening in 1856
Meanwhile, last year’s number one hotel, Capella Bangkok, came third.
Situated on the Chao Phraya River, the classy establishment has 101 rooms, villas and suites to choose from.
The UK had a strong turn out and managed to bag five spots in the top 50 overall.

In 29th place is The Connaught, which is found in the heart of Mayfair, London and was built back in 1897. The renowned hotel has 122 rooms and three impressively sized suites.
It’s also home to the Connaught Bar, which recently placed sixth in The World’s 50 Best Bars.
Another UK venue – Raffles London at The OWO – ranked 31st, and was described as ‘a truly sumptuous new addition to London’s thriving hotel scene‘.

It’s based in a former Old War Office building in Whitehall, and still has the staircase where Winston Churchill delivered announcements.
The Emory, which is nearby Hyde Park in London, follows in 32nd place and is described as ‘the talk of the town’.
The ‘memorable’ venue only opened its doors in July last year and is London’s first all-suite hotel.
Grade II-listed Estelle Manor, in Witney, Oxfordshire placed 47th and is based on a 60-acre estate with 108 luxurious rooms.
