A sex expert has revealed the one sex position that accounts for over 50% of all penile injuries. Thankfully it’s not missionary, so the vanilla among us can keep on thrusting away happily as Larry.
Dr Karan Raj, a TikTok doctor, explained in a video “the most dangerous sex position according to science”. He told viewers: “If there is any erratic thrusting or if the movements of the two parties are not in sync”, it could leave one partner screaming for the wrong reasons.
So what is this dangerous sex position? It’s reverse cowgirl, the ins and outs of which Daily Star shall not seek to define here… it’s Easter Sunday for goodness sake!
All you need to know is that you should proceed with the utmost caution should you wish to give it a go. One wrong move, the expert warned, could leave you with a rather nasty “penile fracture”.
Dr. Raj added: “A penile fracture is a tear in the tunica albuginea. This is a rubbery sheath of tissue that allows the penis to enlarge in width and length during an erection.”
People who fall foul of this fracture are likely to hear a “popping sound”. Yowzers in my trousers!
Mayo Clinic added: “Left untreated, a penis fracture might result in a curved penis or the permanent inability to get or keep an erection firm enough for sex (erectile dysfunction).”
Despite the risk, reverse cowgirl remains a favoured position for men, though it’s actually one of the least preferred for women.
When you think about it, the position certainly does favour one partner more than the other.
The person on the bottom gets a view of their partner’s backside and doesn’t have to exert much effort.
Meanwhile, for the person on top they have to gaze at their partner’s feet, while also having to do most of the work.
Not only that, but several women also took to social media to explain that for them the angle of entry in reverse cowgirl doesn’t make for the most enjoyable, or even comfortable, experience.
Some also mentioned that the position feels very disconnected.
