Man’s physique found on Brighton seaside close to the place three sisters had been discovered

A man’s body has been found on a UK beach. The discovery was made on Rottingdean beach in Brighton, close to where the bodies of three sisters were discovered earlier this month.

Several people have lost their lives across the UK in recent days as temperatures reached record highs. A police cordon is currently in place while investigaitons are carried out at the scene.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Police were called to the beach at Rottingdean on Friday morning, May 29, after a report of a body of a man found on the beach. He has not yet been formally identified and enquiries are being made to establish the full circumstances.”

It comes as an inquest into the deaths of three sisters was opened today. Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walters, 32, and Rebecca Walters, 31, from the Uxbridge area of London were pronounced dead on May 13.

Emergency crews rushed to the shoreline near Black Rock car park off Madeira Drive at approximately 5.45am. An inquest at Woodvale in Brighton heard that the sisters’ causes of death are “yet to be ascertained.” Coroner Penelope Schofield told the women’s father Joseph Jacobson, who attended the hearing online, that the loss of his daughters must be “unbearable”, and she offered condolences.

Statements read to the inquest detailed that Ms Adetoro was brought to shore by an RNLI crew and declared deceased by a paramedic at the scene.
