Benjamin Sesko is starting to find his feet at Manchester United after his summer arrival, and the Slovenian striker is being cheered on by his girlfriend, Anita
Benjamin Sesko is being supported during his early tenure at Manchester United by his stunning girlfriend Anita Vidovic.
Sesko arrived at Old Trafford this summer for £74million from RB Leipzig. Ruben Amorim’s side have started to see an upturn in form after a dismal start to the season and some new summer signings are finding their feet. In United’s recent match against Brighton, both Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha were on the scoresheet.
Striker Sesko also started this 4-2 win, and while he couldn’t convert any chances, he proved he is beginning to gel with his new team-mates and set up Mbeumo’s first goal. He is being supported all the while by his partner Anita, who is five years his senior and has a brother who many members of the British public may recognise from a popular reality TV show.
The 27-year-old is from Slovenia, like Sesko, and reportedly graduated from the University of Ljubljana’s Faculty of Public Administration. Sesko is 22 years old.
United’s new striker supposedly started dating Anita in 2022, though they have kept a relatively low profile, only appearing in a select few social media posts during this time.
Anita is no stranger to the world of football, as her brother, Boris, featured for professional teams in Germany and Poland before his retirement in 2024. Boris rose to fame earlier this year when he appeared on series 12 of Love Island UK. He entered the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell.
While Sesko seldom posts about his partner on social media, often limiting Anita’s appearances to occasional Instagram posts, the 27-year-old WAG regularly shares her boyfriend’s romantic gestures on TikTok.
Anita’s videos, which garner around 20,000 views each, showcase Sesko’s affectionate moments for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. Her feed is filled with clips of the couple dancing, embracing warmly, and traveling together, as well as supporting him from the stands at Leipzig.
In a post from early 2025, Anita compiled various romantic clips of them and captioned it, “It was always you,” accompanied by a white heart emoji. The footage includes Sesko playing with a young lion cub, practising at the driving range, enjoying a basketball game and dancing on a boat.
Sesko’s first few months at Old Trafford have been a mixed bag, but he has admitted that there is plenty more to come, and he is still adjusting to the speed of the Premier League.
“In the end, this is my job; trying to score as many goals as possible, trying to win the games, trying to help the team in every single situation, and hopefully [there is] more to come,” he said earlier in October after scoring in United’s win against Sunderland.
“There is loads [still] to come, definitely. I’m still getting used to it more and more, to read the players, to connect with them even more. I believe I can be even better and I will try to show it.
“I think it’s way quicker, you have less time in general, I think this is one of the biggest changes I would say, and obviously also the physicality, everyone is really physical and athletic.
“I am getting used to it and I will come to the level of this soon. To play for a club like this or even train every single day, it’s an obvious pleasure.”
