Tortilla restaurant provides ‘fiery and critically tasty’ merchandise to menu followers will love
The new addition has been created in collaboration with UK-based sauce experts Sauce Shop – but for limited time only
Mexican restaurant chain, Tortilla, has revealed a thrilling new collaboration. The cherished UK brand has joined forces with flavour experts Sauce Shop to launch Buffalo Hot Chicken, a mouth-watering limited-time menu addition.
At the heart of this new offer is Tortilla’s signature oven-roasted chicken, drenched in Sauce Shop’s award-winning Buffalo Hot Sauce.
The sauce features Sauce Shop’s unique fermented jalapeños and delivers a ‘punchy balance of heat, tang and depth’ that earned them a 3-star Great Taste Award and made it their best-selling product.
To amplify the buffalo experience, two brand-new toppings are being introduced to the menu. These include tangy, crunchy pickled celery, and creamy avocado ranch made with lime, coriander and jalapeños, giving the classic buffalo flavour a Tortilla touch.

“Their Buffalo Hot has landed a 3-star Great Taste Award, and for good reason – it’s bold, fiery and seriously tasty.
“Pairing it with crunchy pickled celery and our smooth avocado ranch gives that classic buffalo, celery and ranch combo a Tortilla twist – big flavour, fresh ingredients and sure to be a crowd pleaser.”
Sauce Shop, which began life in a Nottingham home kitchen in 2014, now has a workforce of 50 churning out hundreds of thousands of bottles weekly. Their range is even stocked in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Asda, Waitrose and online.

Over 70% of Tortilla’s menu is plant-based and Vegan Friendly, with every dish being completely customisable. This means the new Buffalo Hot Chicken can be enjoyed in whatever way customers prefer.
The Buffalo Hot Chicken upgrade is on offer across Tortilla restaurants nationwide, excluding certain university sites, travel hubs and delivery-only kitchens.
Customers can also enjoy it as part of Tortilla’s high-protein pots for £6, making it a great option for a post-gym refuel.
The new addition is available for dine-in, takeaway, through Uber Eats, or via Order Ahead on the Tortilla app.
Burrito Society members will receive a free upgrade during launch week when ordering through the app.
